A serial entrepreneur, Anna-Grace launched her first business at the age of seventeen and is today the young founder of Orbispace Global, a platform solution converting in-game rewards into real world aid for remote and disadvantaged communities. Anna-Grace’s passion for building digital experiences that ‘bring people closer together’ stems from her transdisciplinary background. Starting out as an educator and performer in the creative arts, Anna-Grace was later the first student at the University of Sydney to complete a Joint Honours in Government and International Relations and Cultural Studies. With a background in policy and social impact sectors, Anna-Grace then commenced a masters in Digital Communication and Culture to better understand how emerging technologies could be leveraged for global problem solving. As a passionate designer and digital researcher in areas including mobile media and games, AR/VR and blockchain, Anna-Grace advises for a number of international technology projects spanning the health and education sectors. Having just represented Australia at the UN Commission on the Status of Women as a Global Voices Scholar, Anna-Grace is publishing a policy recommendation for how governments can improve access and ensure greater digital inclusion by harnessing the power of immersive technologies. Specifically, Anna-Grace’s research supports a pilot of a mixed reality (AR/VR) labs in public service institutions in regional Australia enabling scalable healthcare and education solutions.
